MAGNIFIED PICTURES was set up in 2008 to develop and produce features, short films and music videos.

Magnified Pictures’ first feature, the critically acclaimed documentary PERSONAL BEST directed by Sam Blair, was financed by the British Film Institute & adidas, and was released by Verve Pictures in cinemas around the UK in 2012. The film was selected by UK film critics in the EVENING STANDARD FILM AWARDS Best Documentary 2012 longlist of 5 titles, and featured in The Times’ Top 50 Films of 2012.

Magnified Pictures is run by independent producer JESSICA LEVICK, who has worked as a sales agent, selling films from Trainspotting to Dead Man’s Shoes, and who trained as a producer at the National Film & Televisiion School. With her background in sales, and love of story she is passionate about producing brave, cinematic feature films that succeed creatively, critically and commercially.
